Rainy Sunday...

...and Solana is miserable.

Lovely.

So, not only did our baby turn one, our firstborn just turned 8 years old!!! Tony and I can't believe how grown-up our son, Diego, is becoming...he decided he wanted to have a "Dodgers" party and wanted to watch the game and BBQ Dodger Dogs with all of his buddies. It was a fun celebration and we love our boy so very much. He is a baseball fanatic, loves his friends, and is going to be third grader! What a fun kid!

Our little princesa is now 1 year old! I can't believe how fast the time has gone...my last post was about how I was pregnant with our third baby...and now she is here and becoming her own little person! Solana Lucia is the final member of our little family, she completes us and we love her so very much...

3...is the magic number!

You know when you really, REALLY want something and then when you get it or it happens, you kind freak out a bit? I'm feeling that...yeah...
we're havin' a baby!
My baby #3...I am beside myself! I want to tell everyone all at once!!!
As every day, no minute, passes I am more in love with being pregnant again...
I LOVE my family and can't wait to add to it!

An Adventure in Raising Boys

Wow...my very first post! I have been reading other bloggers for about a year now and have really enjoyed discovering other families' stories. I am a "people watcher" by nature and am loving the fact that I can do this without having to even get off of my couch! :)
To introduce, I am a 29 year-old woman who lives and loves in Santa Barbara, CA. I have two beautiful sons, Diego, 5 and Joaquin, 2. I am married to my high-school sweetheart, Tony, and we are so very happy...sometimes it still amazes me.
I am a teacher and have been doing my very best to work on a part-time basis since my boys have been around...the best choice I have ever made. It's a true challenge to balance being a mom and "career woman" and I am proud to say that I have been able to do that...with a few bumps in the road..NO DOUBT!
More to come later....the monkeys are hungry :)
